Welcome to the Pirate Bunny Family

Posted by Kendra Hill on

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Pirate Bunny family! I want to take a moment to introduce myself, and tell you a little more about my new business.

I am Kendra Hill. I have always loved the fine arts and music and love to create. In 2012 I graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Cinema Production and had dreams of working on a major motion picture and seeing my name scroll in the credits. Soon after graduation I had my first child and I realized that my dream of being with my family was much more important.

I stayed at home to care for my new baby but missed being able to have the freedom of creating. Six months after my daughter was born, I started my own photography business. Another child and 5 years later, I was still photographing, learning, creating, and loving capturing memories for my clients.

This past year, my husband and I received a surprise, we were pregnant with TWINS! I was so ill with my pregnancy that I was unable to continue to both run my photography business and take care of my family. With the coming babies, I was beginning to worry about not being able to work, yet doubling our number of children.

I knew I loved photographing kids, it was more like play than work. Games of peek-a-boo, spinning, dancing, singing, and crazy noises always filled my sessions. I came up with the idea of creating photography backdrops that captured the innocence, fun, and imagination of being a child.

That was the beginning of Pirate Bunny, LLC and I have spent many months creating, drawing, and painting! It started slow at first because I haven’t done much art since high school, which was over 10 years ago (ah!). I continue to develop my talents and create new backdrops. I have also connected with other local artists who are excited to design and create for Pirate Bunny.

Thank you for being here and supporting me and our growing family as we begin this new journey.
